He would know better than me, but I think he has a point here. No one cares about e-mail, but we all use it constantly. I get bill reminders, work reminders (not to mention the 47k notifications in my inbox from various work site notifications that other users also get), and a lot of other important stuff in my e-mail. It's not so much used for correspondence anymore, much in the same way snail mail isn't - but we still get, and need, a ton of snail mail. I couldn't live without UPS delivery. Smile

In any case, I'm with him on the "use gmail" solution. Just the ability to search my mail archives nigh-instantaneously makes gmail worth paying for, and it's still free. So that's kind of a no-brainer.
